Data Management and Search
Enable CMYK Rendition Generation in DAM
In the previous release, the Digital Asset Management (DAM) primarily handled assets in without supporting color space conversion between SRGB and CMYK in renditions.
In this release, the DAM enhancement addresses these limitations and enabled to support the color space conversion between sRGB and CMYK in renditions in supported formats. This also ensures that images maintain accurate color consistency across different mediums, reducing discrepancies between on-screen previews and printed results.
For more information, see Image Renditions, Scenarios - Square Padding and Image Renditions and Create Image Renditions configuration.
Data Governance
Enhanced keyword
Following is the enhanced keyword:
| Keyword | Description |
|---|---|
| GetAttributeOS | This keyword gets the value of the originating source (os) to identify whether the value is updated by the user in GRM or the value is provided by the GRM app. Syntax: GetAttributeOS[locale, source, attributeName, ospropertyname] Example: GetAttributeOS[“en-US”, “internal”, “synbrand”, “os”] |
System Administration
Enhancements to Data Insights App (Beta)
In this release, the Data Insights app supports the following enhancements:
-
Enhancements to Filters: You can filter all the OOTB reports using Entity ID and Entity Name properties.

-
Enhancements to Entity Summary Filters: Introduced a new Relationship Attributes filter that dynamically retrieves attributes based on the selected Relationship Type or Related Entity Type. You can further apply different attribute data types to improve accuracy and relevant results.

-
Filter data based on specific report type:
In the previous release, all the OOTB reports displayed combined search filters, which impacted the usability and performance.
In this release, the filters are displayed based on the specific report type.- The Entity Summary report displays Properties, Attributes, Relationships, and Relationship Attribute filters.
- The Data Quality report displays Properties and Business Condition filters.
- The Workflow SLA report displays Properties and Workflow filters.

-
Enhanced filter limits for OOTB Reports:
All the OOTB reports allowed an unlimited number of filters per search, which resulted in complex queries, increased execution times, and potential report timeouts or failures.
In this release, a limit of 15 filters per search has been introduced for all the OOTB reports. The application validates the hard limit and displays a validation message if additional filters are applied.

-
View data quality related error messages:
A new widget, Messages is introduced in the Data Quality report, which allows you to view the data quality related messages for the selected filters. The widget displays a unique list of message code types and their descriptions based on the applied filters and dynamically displays the data whenever the filters within the report are modified.

-
Localization of OOTB Reports:
In this release, the application supports localization of all the OOTB reports, improving the user experience across different regions and languages. This localization includes the UI elements, messages and validations, and also view the UI elements based on the selected Interaction Locale. If the translation is unavailable, the application automatically falls back to English (en-US) locale to ensure continuity and consistency.

-
Optimization of widgets:
In the previous release, all the charts in each report rendered simultaneously, regardless of when their respective data was available.
In this release, each chart will render parallelly, displaying as soon as their respective widget data is available. A new Refresh icon is displayed if any of the widget fails to load the data. You can manually refresh the widget to reload the data.

-
Export OOTB reports in Image and PDF formats:
In the previous release, you could download all the OOTB reports in Excel and CSV formats only.
In this release, you can download all the OOTB reports in PDF or Image (.PNG) formats as well. The PDF download supports multi-page layouts for large reports, while image download provides high-resolution rendering. The application has been enhanced to handle errors effectively when report size exceeds the configured limits. Note that the access to download functionality is permission-controlled.

For more information, see Data Insights Report Filters{target=_blank}, Download Data Insights Report Data, Data Quality Report Filters, Workflow SLA Report Filters.
Enhanced validation framework for Metadata Modeling
In the previous release, the import validations were based on an Enhanced Model Validation tenant-level flag. Using this flag you could either enable or disable all the validations during data model import.
In this release, an extensible metadata modelling validation framework is introduced to leverage the existing tenant-level flag to enable or disable up to 50 individual validations.
For more information, see Configure to Validate Data Model Errors and Validate Errors during Data Model Imports.
Enhancements to Visualization Model Load app

Unified API-based Model Orchestration for Base Data Domain Models
In the previous release, the Taxonomy Domain Module Management API was introduced, enabling applications to efficiently structure and manage taxonomy domains through standardized JSON.
In this release, a new Data Model Service has been introduced, along with enhancements to the Taxonomy Domain Module Management API’s parameter structure. Additionally, new services BaseModel Service, ContextModel Service, and EntityType Service have been added, further enabling applications to structure and manage domains through standardized JSON. The API now supports seamless data import operations, including create, update, and delete actions, as well as the ability to define and maintain associated attributes.
For more information, see Data Model Service.
Support auto-adjustment for time zone–aware schedule and improvements to the usability of maintaining schedules
-
Validate Task URL:
In this release, the application enforces strict URL validation and restricts external URL usage. While invoking tasks, only HTTP URLs that point to internal services are permitted; all other URLs are rejected. -
Daylight Saving Time Support for Schedules:
In the previous release, the fixed interval–based schedules previously did not account for daylight saving time (DST) changes.
In this release, a new property, dayLightSavingEnabled, has been introduced for scheduling. When enabled, schedules automatically adjust to the tenant’s local time zone, including daylight saving time transitions, ensuring consistent execution at the intended local time.
For more information, see Schedule Object Structure.
View rsintegration-system container in SAS Key Self-Service

Breaking Changes
Rate limit for uncontrolled REST API activities (Beta)
Syndigo is introducing API rate limits to ensure platform stability and consistent performance. This release enables backend throttling behaviour, where APIs may return HTTP 429 responses with Retry-After headers when thresholds are exceeded.
This is an announcement phase with no enforcement in 2026.R3, intended to provide early visibility into API usage patterns. Future releases will introduce customer dashboards (2026.R4), followed by enforcement in lower environments (2026.R5) and production (2026.R6), aligned with subscription limits.
Indicative thresholds (~5000 requests/hour, ~83/minute) are subject to refinement. Customers are encouraged to review integrations and implement retry logic with exponential backoff.
For detailed guidance, rollout plan, and FAQs, see API Rate Limiting for REST APIs (Early Announcement).

File Processing Behavior with rsintegration-system Container
- The
container uses an enhanced, batch-oriented file processing model designed to improve scalability, performance, and overall system efficiency. - Batch scheduled processing interval of 15 minutes.
- This enables parallel file processing and task consolidation, resulting in:
- Enhanced scalability and performance
- Reduced system load caused by excessive event and history creation
- More optimized and controlled processing of incoming files.
Scheduled Processing Cycle
Integrations using the rsintegration-system container operate on a scheduled processing interval of 1–15 minutes.
This approach provides a controlled and predictable processing cycle for entities after ingestion, as opposed to immediate, event-driven processing.
Current Processing Model (tenantid-import)
In the existing model, files placed in the tenantid-import container are processed sequentially based on timestamp as soon as they are dropped.
Enhanced Batch-Oriented Processing
With the rsintegration-system container, file handling shifts to a batch-oriented processing model that enables:
- Parallel file processing
- Task consolidation during processing
- Improved scalability and performance
- Reduced system load caused by excessive event and history creation
- More optimized and controlled handling of incoming files
This updated model ensures a more efficient and scalable approach to file-based integrations while maintaining predictable processing behaviour.
In scenarios where the business requirement calls for near real-time integrations, the recommended approach is to leverage Azure Event Hubs for streaming the integration changes for processing
For more information, see Import Data using Bulk File Processing Container
Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to improve scalability, security, and consistency across our integration platform.
