The Automotive Aftermarket Offering – ACES App is offered with standard Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) offerings, which includes a set of basic pre-configured use-cases to Onboard, Enrich, Govern, and Publish Application records in the application. It consists several business use cases and flows that are pre-configured to help you manage the complete information lifecycle of an Application record.
Broadly, the following tables lists the use-case and business process that this app cater in the lifecycle of the Application records.
Data Onboarding
The data from vendors or suppliers are addressed through the Data Onboarding process.
Quickstart for Uploading ACES Data
ACES app allows users to onboard the automotive data and assets by providing the ability to import the ACES XML files. ACES XML data helps customers to obtain right parts that fit their vehicle and equipment. It also allows you to “check fit” on the parts that are vehicle‐specific and equipment-specific. A sample case to onboard Application data is demonstrated in the corresponding video.
Data Management
Once the data is onboarded to our application, it can be enriched and governed by defining various policies and process flows.
Enrich Application Data
The Entity Manage page allows you to maintain master data and assures data accuracy and consistency over its entire application life cycle. You can enrich and manage the onboarded entities, attribute values, relationships, and digital assets via User Interface (UI). A sample case to enrich Applciation data is demonstrated in the corresponding video.
Catalog Management
Catalog Management is a built-in flexible flow to effectively onboard Application or Catalog records to the application from vendors or suppliers. The flow is initiated when the Applications have been imported and related Catalog has been created or updated.
Note Enrichment
Note Enrichment is a built-in flexible flow to enrich the Note data uploaded by vendors or suppliers via ACES XML file. The system performs Note standardization process by verifying reserved keywords for each incoming Note.
Application Drop Management
Application Drop Management is a built-in flexible flow to ensure the "Dropped" Application records are deleted from the system. When the imported Application record status is "Missed" or when the "Drop Application?" attribute is manually marked as “True” for an Application by the Content Specialist, the flow is initiated.
Digital Asset Management
ACES app allows you to maintain assets. Assets include various types of unstructured content including but not limited to word or PDF Documents, images, drawings, flyers, and spreadsheets.
Link an asset to the Application
Asset can be used to enrich the entities as it provides more tangible details about the entity.
