Approve or Reject Documents

You can assess the authenticity of the document and either approve or reject them. The approval process typically involves assessing document's content against predefined criteria or company norms. This includes evaluating documents that adhere to the organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and overall quality. An efficient process enhances data quality that meets the necessary standards, thereby mitigating risks associated with inadequate documentation.

The rejection of documents plays an equally vital role in maintaining the quality of the documentation. This acts as a corrective measure, indicating that certain documents require revision or further clarification, refine their submissions, and align with organizational expectations. Thus, rejection is not merely a negative outcome but rather a critical step in the iterative workflow process of document improvement and validation.

Approve Documents

Consider you wish to approve documents.

To approve documents:

  1. On the navigation menu, click the Search Supplier app.

    Result: The Search page is displayed.

  2. Select Supplier from the Filter type drop-down.

    Result: A list of suppliers are displayed.

  1. Click on the supplier entity link.

    Result: The Entity Management page is displayed.

  2. Under the Summary tab > Things I Need to Fix widget, click on the Required Documents available link.

    Result: The Required Documents Available link is displayed.

  3. Click Next.

    Result: The Manage Relationships stepper is displayed.

  4. Click on the document you wish to verify to ensure it is uploaded correctly.

  5. Click Approve in the Workflow tab to approve and complete the documentation process.

    Result: The document status will change to Approved.

Reject Documents

You can reject the documents if they do not meet your business standard.

To reject documents:

  1. On the navigation menu, click the Search Supplier app.

    Result: The Search page will be displayed.

  2. Filter by Supplier entity type.

    Result: The Search page displays a list of suppliers.

  3. Click on the supplier entity.

    Result: The Entity Manage page is displayed.

  4. Under the Summary tab > Things I Need to Fix widget, click on the Required Documents Available link.

    Result: The Required Documents Available grid is displayed.

  5. Click Next.

    Result: The Manage Relationship stepper is displayed.

  6. Click on the document you wish to verify.

  7. Click Reject and add comments in the Workflow tab.
