The data is setup by default for the Part entity type. For you to configure the required entity types, you must perform few settings in the model as described.
The configuration is valid for ETIM 10.0, 9.0 and 8.0 versions.
Thing Domain Model
-
You must ensure to have the BMEcat attributes mapped to the intended entity type in the E-A-R Model sheet of the model. Example: The attribute OrderUnit is a BMEcat attribute mapped to part entity type.

-
You must ensure to have the path attribute mapped for the required classification attributes in the Attributes sheet of the model. Example: bmeE10ProductFeatures is mapped to the classification ETIM 10.0 Classification.

Taxonomy Data Model
- Any ETIM classifications that you wish to be part of the system must be defined in the TAXONOMIES sheet. Example: For the ETIM 9.0 classification, define etim09classificationroot.
- For any categories (For example, EC000019 - Coaxial cable) that you wish to belong to the required taxonomy (say ETIM 9.0 Classification), you must ensure to have them in the CATEGORIES sheet associating them to the classification.

- For the classifications defined in the Taxonomy Data Model, you must ensure to have the relevant path attribute defined in the Thing Domain Model. For more information, see Thing Domain Model.
- For the attributes to be listed in the relevant category, the ATTRIBUTES sheet must have the required attributes defined in the model; and the relevant mapping must be performed between taxonomy name, category name, attribute group, and mapped attribute in the CATEGORY MODEL sheet.
