Data Syndication

Once the entities are onboarded and managed successfully in the application, it is now ready to get published to various external systems. The application allows you to syndicate the entities belonging to 'Application Group' entity type, and all Applications that belongs to the Application Group gets published automatically to the downstream system. The published Application Group is exported in JSON format and will be stored in Auto App Blob Store.

You can publish the Application Group through Application Enrichment workflow in JSON format to the Auto App Blob Store.

Scenario

Consider you wish to publish the Application Group "CLKS Ignition Coil" to the Auto App Blob Store. The Application group is enriched by performing validations based on the business conditions to ensure the data quality. After satisfying all the business conditions, the Application group is automatically published to Auto App Blob Store.

Publish Application Group

To publish the Application Group:

1. In Home, navigate to My To Do's widget and click Application Enrichment. Under Application Enrichment, you can see various workflow steps, click Analyst Review.
   

   Result: Search Automotive page is displayed.

2. Select the Application Group, that you want to proceed with the workflow step.
   

   Result: The Entity Manage page of the selected Application Group is displayed with the Application Group details along with the workflow that entity should go through.
   

3. In Summary tab, navigate to Things I need to fix and click the business condition, Vendor comments mandatory.

4. Enter the required comment under Vendor Review Comments and click Save. Close this page.
   

   Result: You can observe that the business conditions are in green tick, which indicates that the business conditions are successfully satisfied.
   

5. Navigate to the 1st step of workflow that is, Analyst Review and Add a comment. Click on Submit to proceed with the next step.
   

   Result: The workflow moves to the QA Review step.

6. In QA Review step, add a comment and click Approve. You can also click on Approve and Publish to publish directly to the downstream systems by skipping Pending Publish step.
   

   Result: The workflow moves to the Pending Publish step.

7. In Pending Publish step, add a comment and click Publish.
   

   Result: The Application Group is published out to the downstream systems, Auto App Blob Store in RS JSON format.
   

8. To view the exported file, nagivate to Task Progress Summary in Home and select System Integrations - Entity Data Exports from the Type drop-down.
   

9. Navigate to 'Application Export/(Task ID).json' from the list and click View Details.
   

   Result: The Task Detail page of the exported Application Group is opened.

10. Click on the link under File Name to download the exported RS JSON file.
    

Result: The RS JSON file of the exported Application Group will be downloaded into your local folder.
