ETIM Classification Model

ETIM is the international classification standard for technical products. ETIM Model components such as Groups, Classes, Synonyms, Features, Values and Units are fully incorporated into Syndigo’s Platform with support for translations in ETIM languages by member languages.

Taxonomy Data Model	With this model, the system aligns the ETIM based taxonomies and classifications into the PIM system for the entity data. Example: Considering ETIM 9.0 as version, the classifications associated with ETIM 9.0 are available in the application. You can validate the classifications available in the system in accordance with the model. The system provides you an option to select a dummy class code, when you do not find a suitable ETIM Class for a Part entity. For example, EC000000-Dummy Class for ETIM 8.0 Classification. The ETIM classifications available in the system can be mapped to other classifications based on the business needs.
