Link Image to Equipment

The application allows you to link image to a Euipment by using the "Equipment Id" attribute

Consider you wish to link "electric-motor-16" jpg image to "MOTOR,ELECTRIC-AC" part.

To link image to equipment:

1. On the navigation menu, click Digital Asset Library app.

   Result: The Search page is displayed.

2. Copy the "electric-motor-16" jpg part number.

3. Navigate to Entity Manage page of "MOTOR,ELECTRIC-AC" part.

4. Select Basic attribute

group from the Attributes drop-down.

Result: The Basic Attributes tab is displayed with the related attributes.

5. Hover over the "Part Number" attribute to display the Edit icon.

6. Click the Edit icon to enable the edit mode.

7. Paste "electric-motor-16" in the Part Number attribute textbox and click Save.

8. Click the Refresh icon.

   Result: The thumbnail of the image is displayed in the header of the Entity Manage page.
   

To verify, either click on the Images link in the Assets widget or select Images from the Assets drop-down to view the linked image.
