The system validates the Application record based on the part attribute value defined in the imported file. When the ACES XML file with an invalid part type is imported, the system rejects the application.
The system rejects the application if the Part attribute value has any of the following values:
- N/A or NA
- N/R or NR
- N/S, NS, or NSS

When the ACES XML file is imported with invalid part numbers. For example, consider ACES XML file includes an invalid part ID such as 220800. When the same is imported into the system, then the validation fails. The rejected applications with the "Invalid Part Type details" are available to the user for review with a valid error message under the "Task Details" section.
