What’s new in PIES 8.0?
The PIES 8.0 update introduces enhancements that improve schema support, validation coverage, version handling, backward compatibility, and data processing during onboarding.
Schema and Version Support
- The PIES 8.0 XSD is integrated into the ingestion framework.
- The application validates uploaded files against the PIES 8.0 schema structure.
- Version detection is supported during the onboarding process.
Backward Compatibility
- Existing support for PIES 6.7, 7.1 and 7.2 versions are retained.
Data Processing and Mapping
- The parsing logic is updated to handle new elements introduced in PIES 8.0 version.
- Deprecated or modified elements are processed appropriately.
- Mapping remains consistent with the existing data model.
