How to create a new product

Create a new product from Quick Actions by providing basic attribute details, assigning a classification, and adding assets. You can create one product at a time or multiple products one after the other.

Note:

You can also create products in bulk by importing the product catalog files in XLS, XLSX, or CSV formats.

To create a product:

Go to Quick Actions and click Create New.
In the Create New dialog, perform the following actions in each stepper.

Stepper	Action
Type	Select a product type you want to create.
Attributes	Enter the details and click Create & Proceed.
Taxonomy	Select a relevant product classification and click Save & Proceed.
Assets	Add assets from your local system using the Drag & Drop or the Click option in the Upload Asset Files box, and click Finish. Click Select from Digital Asset Library to select the assets and click Save & Finish.
Summary	View Created Product to open the PDP of the newly created product. Create Another Product to create one more product. Done to return to the Dashboard page.

The identifier of a product is automatically generated if the value is not specified.
