The following table depicts the attributes and their validation conditions used to export an entity data:

Attribute Description Requirement Validation Condition
ETIM Version Indicates the ETIM version for exporting entity data. For example, ETIM-8.0.
Notes:
  • The entity data is successfully exported only if the ETIM version(s) assigned to an entity and the ETIM version selected in the ETIM Version dropdown menu are the same. For example, the Part data is assigned with ETIM-9.0, but you selected ETIM-8.0 in the ETIM Version dropdown menu. The Part data is not exported.

  • The entity data is exported in the ETIM version selected by the user, irrespective of the multiple versions assigned to an entity. For example, the Part data is assigned with the ETIM-8.0 and ETIM-9.0 versions, and you selected ETIM-9.0 in the ETIM Version dropdown menu. The Part data is exported only in ETIM-9.0.

Catalog ID Indicates the ID used to identify a catalog. For example, ID-2024. Required The maximum number of characters allowed in Catalog ID is 20.
Catalog Version Indicates the version of a catalog. For example, 01.01. Required The format of the catalog version must be “MajorVersion”.”MinorVersion”. For example, 7.1. The maximum length of the catalog version format is xxx.yyy. For example, 001.001.
Catalog Name Indicates the name of a catalog. For example, Sample Catalog. Required The maximum number of characters allowed in Catalog Name is 100.
Territory Indicates the available countries for exporting entity data. For example, Germany. Optional NA
Language Indicates the available languages for exporting entity data. For example, German.
Note: This feature supports downloading the exported XML files in English only.

Default Language Indicates the default language for exporting entity data. For example, English. Optional Only the languages selected in the Language dropdown menu are displayed in Default Language.
Currency Indicates the available currencies of the country(s) selected in the Territory attribute. For example, Euro. Optional NA
File Name Indicates the name of the XML file for exporting entity data. For example, test_data_2024-03-07.xml. Required The format of the file name must be abc_xyz_yyyy-mm-dd.xml. The maximum number of characters allowed in File Name is 40.
Buyer Indicates the name of the required buyer. For example, Buyer001. Required NA
Supplier Indicates the name of the required supplier. For example, Supplier001. Required NA
Attribute Tightening Indicates an Attribute Tightening toggle.
  • Turn on: If a value is not assigned to an attribute, it is displayed as “-” in the downloaded XML file. For example, the EF001629 attribute does not have a value, it is displayed as
    <FEATURE><FNAME>EF001629</FNAME><FVALUE>-</FVALUE><FVALUE>-</FVALUE></FEATURE>
    
  • Turn off: If a value is not assigned to an attribute, it is not displayed in the downloaded XML file. For example, the EF001629 attribute does not have a value, it is not displayed in the downloaded XML file.
