The Catalog Management flow is for "Catalog" records to effectively onboard Application or Catalog records to the application from vendors or suppliers. The flow is initiated when the Applications have been imported and the related Catalog has been created or updated. The system manages the Catalog at the "Brand", "Part Type", and "Vendor level".
Scenario
Consider that you wish to validate the Brand and Part Type combination on created Catalog "FCQT Air Filter" and verify if the respective catalog information is authorized or unauthorized.
The following lists the sequence of steps for the Catalog in this use case:

Application data must be compliant with ACES version 4.0 specific format or standards.
- You have imported the Applications via the ACES XML file and the related Catalog 'FCQT Air Filter' has been created or updated in the system.
- As soon as the "Catalog" is created, the Catalog Management flow is initiated and all such Catalogs are in the "Unauthorized Part Type" process flow step.
- The Content Specialist performs validations.
- If Content Specialist wishes to approve the "Catalog", then the Approver must manually click Approve.
- If the defined criteria are not passed, then the Content Specialist can manually click Reject, and the "Catalog" moves to the "Permanently Unauthorized" process flow step.
- The Content Specialist can delete the catalog at the "Permanently Unauthorized" step.
The Catalog is unauthorized and is removed from the system. - The approved catalogs from the Content Specialist are shown in the review stage for the vendor.
- If the vendor reviews the catalog and approves then the catalogs will be imported to the system.

Partial Catalog Deletion
An application or an application group can be deleted within the catalog. It covers the following scenarios:
When a catalog has an application group and each application group has multiple application records within it,
- Deleting an application group deletes all the application records under the associated application group. Hence, a catalog is deleted.
- Deleting any one application record in the application group will delete only the selected application and not the entire catalog.
- Deleting all the application records within the application group will have the application group deleted.
