Configure Application Delete Limit

Prev Next

The Autoapp runs a scheduled deletion job every 24 hours to remove records that have been marked for deletion. The application supports two types of delete operations:

  • Full Delete: Removes entire catalogs marked for deletion during the 24-hour job cycle. This process deletes the catalog along with all associated applications and application groups.
  • Partial Delete: Removes applications marked for deletion typically due to note changes or missing entries in the XML.

If all applications within an application group are deleted, the system automatically deletes the corresponding application group.

You can configure the daily deletion limit, which defines the maximum number of records that can be deleted in a 24‑hour period. Separate limits can be set for weekdays and weekends.

This limit applies collectively across both Full Delete and Partial Delete operations.

Notes:
  • Once the configured threshold is reached, the deletion job stops for the day.
  • Pending records will be picked up in the next 24-hour cycle.
  • Any records that cannot be processed due to the daily limit are logged for monitoring, reporting, and subsequent processing.

Scenario

Consider you want to configure the catalog deletion limits as follows:

  • Weekday limit: 50,000 deletions
  • Weekend limit: 60,000 deletions
