ETIM Based Parts Management - Batch App Settings

The Batch App settings allow you to configure the following:

  • API credentials, which are required to access locales-specific data related to the offering for a user.
  • Locale configuration, which maps Syndigo locales to the corresponding ETIM locales.

  1. Click Edit in the Settings page.

  2. Configure the following settings:

API Credentials

The Batch App settings enable you to configure the API credentials needed to access locale specific data for a user.

The following table describes the attributes available in the API Credentials section for configuration:

Attribute Description
Auth Scope Indicates the data access privileges of an application. This ensures that only relevant data is available to a specific user via the API request.
Application Identifier Indicates a unique identifier assigned to an application for an API request authentication and authorization. For example, syndigo_us.
Access Key It's a confidential key used with the Application Identifier for API request authentication.
  1. Click Save to apply the settings.

The 'Changes saved' message is displayed after the updates are saved.

Locale Configuration

The app allows you to configure a locale mapping between Syndigo locales and corresponding ETIM locales. You can perform the following actions:

Add Locale Mapping

To create a Locale Mapping,

  1. Click Add in the Locale Configuration accordion.

    The following table describes the attributes available in the Locale Configuration section for configuration.
Attribute Description
ETIM Locale Select the ETIM locale from the list.

Example: ETIM English (master)
Syndigo Locale When an ETIM locale is selected, the app displays the corresponding Syndigo locale.

Example: For the selected ETIM locale, ETIM English, the corresponding Syndigo locale displayed is English - United States.
Note:

The app deployment includes seven default ETIM locales with Open to All access, which are non-editable:

Click Save to apply the settings.

Edit Locale Mapping

To edit any existing Locale Mapping,

  1. Click Edit icon and modify the Locale Mapping row, see Add Locale Mapping.

  2. Click Save to update the settings.

Delete Locale Mapping

To delete any existing Locale Mapping,

  1. Select the checkbox in the row that you want to delete from Locale Mapping and click Delete.
