The application displays the application notes information for the selected application group. This allows you to get a visual representation of all the application notes present under an application group. The Application Notes tab displays the total number of application notes and the status of all the notes before the application group is published.
Scenario
Consider you wish to view the notes present in an application group. To view:
- On the navigation menu, click Search > Search Applications app.

**Result:** The **Search Automotive Domain** page is displayed.
- Click the Type drop-down and select Application Group.

- Click the required Application Group link.

**Result:** The **Application Group Manage** page is displayed.
- Click the Application Notes tab.

**Result:** The **Application Notes** grid is displayed with **Type** and **Publish Status** pie charts for representing:
- The type of notes indicating the number of Note Mfr Label and Qualifier.
- The published and unpublished notes.

You can click the charts to filter the notes and display the results in a tabular format.
By default, the grid displays the Note ID, Note Text, Status, and Publish Date columns. However, you can configure the columns displayed in the grid. For more information, see Configure columns in the Application Notes tab.
Configure columns in the Application Notes tab
By default, the grid displays the Note ID, Note Text, Status, and Publish Date columns. The application allows you to configure the columns displayed in the grid.
Scenario
Consider you wish to add a Note Type column in the table displayed in the Application Notes tab.

In the plugin-visualize-notes.json file, specify the following under the gridcolumns property:
- externalHeaderName: Specify the name of the column. Example, “Note Type”.
- field: Specify the field name as “autonotetype”.
- colId: Specify the column ID as “autonotetype”.
- enabled: Set this property to “true” to view the Note Type column. If set to “false”. The application will not display the corresponding columns.
