How to manage assets

Manage your product assets, such as images, documents, videos, or audio files, from the Assets tab in PDP. Get to know more about supported file formats here.

Each asset type is individually organized with collapsible accordions. You can expand/collapse these accordions to navigate and quickly access specific assets.

Add assets to your product

You can select an existing asset or upload a new asset for your product.

To select an existing asset:

Go to PDP and click the Assets tab.
Click the Add button and select Select From Assets from the dropdown.
In the Add Asset dialog, select an asset(s).
Click the Add button.
You can view the selected asset in the accordion.

To upload a new asset:

Go to PDP and click the Assets tab.
Click the Add button and select Upload New from the dropdown.
In the Upload New dialog, click to browse and select, or drag and drop the asset(s) from your system.
Click Close once the upload process is completed.
You can view the newly uploaded asset is linked to your product. Also, the assets are created on the Digital Assets page.

Note:

During the upload process, you can click X to stop an asset from being uploaded or click Stop Upload to stop the asset creation process for the remaining assets.

Common actions

Upon adding assets in PDP, you can perform the following:

Icons	Description
	Select the asset(s) and click the Download dropdown to select one of the following: Download Asset to download the asset file. Download Asset Metadata to download asset metadata details in an Excel file.
	Select the asset and click the Remove icon to remove the asset from your product.
	Click the Sort dropdown to select the asset property. By default, the assets are sorted in ascending order. You can also sort assets in descending order by clicking the Sort by Descending Order icon.
	Hover over the image and click the Mark as primary icon to represent an image as a thumbnail in Tile view.
	Hover over the primary image and click the Unmark as primary icon to remove the image from the thumbnail.
	Hover over an asset and click the Preview icon to preview the asset. From preview mode, you can download, remove, or manage the asset.
	Click the ellipses icon to preview, download, or remove an asset individually.
	Click the reorder button to drag and drop the asset (images only) rows up or down to rearrange them in a specific order in Table view.
