How to replace a Syndigo Marketplace asset with a Brand asset

When products are added back to the catalog from the marketplace, the assets associated with the product appear in the Assets tab. These are Syndigo‑verified assets.

Asset matching logic in the Assets tab

The system determines the displayed asset based on the combination of Image Type and Asset Locale.

• When no Brand asset exists for a given Image Type and Asset Locale, the Syndigo Marketplace asset is displayed directly, and the Source is shown as Syndigo Marketplace.
• When a Brand asset already exists for the same Image Type and Asset Locale, the Syndigo Marketplace asset appears as a suggestion, indicated by the bulb icon.

You can replace these Syndigo Marketplace assets with a Brand asset using the following options:

Replace a Syndigo Marketplace asset with your own asset in tile view

To replace a Syndigo Marketplace asset with a own asset in tile view:

1. In global view, open the PDP for the required product.
2. Go to the Assets tab and, in tile view, select the Syndigo Marketplace asset you want to replace.
   
3. Click the vertical asterisk associated with the asset, and then click Replace with Brand Asset.
   
4. In the Replace Asset modal, select the Brand asset from the Digital Assets tab or upload a new asset using the Upload tab, and then click Add.
   
5. Verify that the Marketplace asset is replaced with the selected Brand asset.
   

Replace a Syndigo Marketplace asset with your own asset in table view

In table view:

• To replace the asset in table view, you must follow the similar steps as described in the tile view.
  

• The following are key observations in table view:

  • Each asset row displays a Source column indicating Brand or Syndigo Marketplace.
  • Selecting Replace with Brand Asset opens the same Replace Asset modal used in tile view, where you can select or upload a single Brand asset.
  • After replacement, the asset source updates to Brand.
