The Search bar in the Products and Digital Assets page allows you to quickly search by entering a keyword or phrase. Once you press Enter, the application instantly performs the search and displays the matching results.
To search products using keywords:
- Go to Products page and click on the Search box.
- Enter a keyword. For example, Men Casual T-shirt.
The results are displayed based on the search criteria.
By default, the application performs a search based on the “starts-with-each-word” approach. You can also search products or assets by using an exact keyword, multiple values, or a partial value.
Exact search
You can search for products or assets that exactly match the search criteria. Enter one or more keywords related to a product within double quotes. For example, “Men Casual T-shirt”.
Multi-value search
You can search for products or assets that exactly match either one of the keywords or all of the keywords using the operators (or/and).
You can also copy-paste more than one keyword or attribute value from an Excel or CSV file. The application automatically applies the “or” operator between the keywords, along with double quotes.
- or: For example, "organic" or "vegan".
- and: For example, "organic" and "vegan".
Wildcard or partial value search
You can search for products or assets by appending * at the beginning of the partial value. This helps you when the exact value is unknown or when you are looking for similar patterns.
By default, the leading wildcard search is not enabled in the application. Contact your Syndigo CSM to enable it.
When you search for products by entering the last four (or a few) characters using the Wildcard, the application displays the search results that contain the partial value. For example, GTIN ID - *P2MZ.
