This article describes how to publish a product's data using both Publish on Schedule and Publish Now from the PDP.
To publish a product's data using Publish Schedule from the PDP:
- Select a manually configured recipient in the Product details Page (PDP). The publication checklist appears with the product readiness score and actionable steps. For more information on the actionable steps, see User Doc: How to resolve checklist steps.

Manually configured recipients do not have a recipient feedback cycle.
-
Click Publish on Schedule. Your product will be published automatically to the recipient on the upcoming schedule. Additionally, whenever you make an update, click Publish on Schedule again to send the updated version on the upcoming schedule.
Successfully validated products are published to the recipient.

To publish a product's data using Publish Now from the PDP:
-
Navigate to the Manually Configured recipient-specific PDP for the linked product.

-
Click Publish Now. If the product isn't 100% ready, an alert lets you know it doesn't fully meet the recipient's requirements. We recommend making it 100% ready before sending, but if you need to send immediately, click Publish Anyway to publish the product as is.

Successfully validated product is published to the recipient.

- A version published using Publish Now is also published on the recipient’s schedule, provided it meets the schedule's (distribution) readiness requirements.
- When you use Publish Now for a manually configured recipient, the product data is sent immediately to the contacts set up on the recipient's schedule, without waiting for the next scheduled run.
Additional Information
You can view information such as Last Sent, Last Published, and Upcoming Schedule on the publication checklist.
- Last Sent: Indicates the date and time your product was last successfully sent and received by the recipient.
- Last Published: Indicates the date and time you last published to the recipient using either Publish on Schedule or Publish Now.
- Upcoming Schedule: Indicates the date and time of the recipient's next scheduled run, which is when the products you've published on schedule will next be sent to the recipient.
- Both Publish on Schedule and Publish Now will be unavailable when the product status is On Hold or Discontinued, or when no schedule (distribution) is configured for the recipient.
- If processing takes longer than expected, you can close the processing pop-up and monitor the task in the Currently Running section of the Background Tasks popover.
