Duplicate Record Validation

The system validates the Application record against the other Applications that are part of an Application Group for potential Duplicates (except Application ID, Validate, and Action fields). If any two application records have the same set of attributes except Application id, Validate, and action field are considered duplicates. If Application records are identified as “Duplicate”, the system picks the first application as a valid application and rejects the other identical Applications records.

Scenario 1

Consider two applications with the same Vehicle Identification attributes, VCdb attributes, PCdb attributes, Part, Notes, and Quantity except the App_id and Action. The system picks the first application record App action="A" id="1" and discards all other duplicated applications.
