Enable or Disable Syndicatable Attributes before Data Synchronization
Before the data synchronization is performed between PIM and Syndication, the PIM module allows you to indicate the attributes that needs to be syndicated. This can be performed via thing domain data model or PIM UI.
Thing Domain Data Model
You can set the value of the Is Syndicatable property to YES for the required attributes in the EAR model sheet of the data model. Upload the updated data model sheet to the respective tenant and perform data model synchronization. The following is a sample data model sheet containing the Is Syndicatable property.

PIM UI
You can set the value of the Is Syndicatable property to TRUE or FALSE on the UI. The following screenshot depicts the value of Is Syndicatable set to TRUE for the GDSN Net Weight attribute.

- The default value of the Is Syndicatable property is set to FALSE.
- The mandatory attributes that are required for a data model or data synchronization are always syndicated irrespective of the value of the Is Syndicatable property. Example: match attributes, packaging hierarchy parent-child relationship attributes, asset relationships, and so on.
- The value of Is Syndicatable property for any intended attribute can be overridden via the data model or UI.
