New Item Sourcing

New Item Sourcing is a process of requesting the new Product from the Supplier. The new product is requested by the Retailer; and can be initiated with or without GTIN attributes:

• New Item Sourcing from GDSN Supplier
• New Item Sourcing from Non-GDSN Supplier

Benefits

• The Retailers will have an authority to request for the desired Product.
• The NIS process eliminates multiple staging workflows. After Supplier publishes the product based on Retailers request, the product will be syndicated to PIM without Retailer acknowledgement.
