Publication Feedback Synchronization

Note:

This article is intended only for the V1 flow.

The PIM module enables Retailers to synchronize product feedback from PIM to Syndication.

Scenario: Let us consider that the Retailer wants to provide the following feedback to the Product (GTIN-10049800042028) in PIM:

Feedback Message Changed Retailer Group attributes.

To synchronize the feedback from PIM to Syndication, perform the following:

  1. From the Navigation Menu, click Search > Search Thing Domain.

    Result: The Search Thing Domain page is displayed.

  2. Search for the product for which you want to provide feedback and then perform the following steps:
    a. Select the product. Here, we have selected Retaileritem.

    Result: The Entity Manage page is displayed.

    b. Click Attributes > Integration.
    image

    Result: The Integration Attributes tab is displayed.
    image

    c. Enter the required feedback in the Feedback Message attribute and click Save.

    Result: An alert containing a message, Data saved is displayed.

    Note:

    In the above depicted image, the Correlation Id is the PIM attribute where correlation ID is available only at the top level of hierarchy while receiving the data from Syndication to PIM. For more information, see Publication Feedback Synchronization.

    The feedback is sent to the Syndication module and is displayed in the Feedback column of the associated product.
