Understanding syndication panel

The Syndication readiness panel in the Product Detail Page (PDP) allows you to view and track the publication statuses of a product across all linked recipients in global and recipient contexts. This helps you determine whether products are ready for syndication or require attention.

This panel displays the following for all the linked recipients:

• Publication status for each recipient
• Readiness score for each recipient
• Number of synchronized recipients
• Average readiness score

Publication status for each recipient

Publication Status indicates the current state of the product for each of the linked recipient. The possible statuses are:

• Not Published: The product draft has never been published or requires user action before publication (Example: data incomplete, checklist open, and so on).
• Publishing: Publication has been initiated by the brand user; the system is pushing the product to the recipient.
• Published Awaiting Subscription: Publishing is complete on the system side, but the recipient system has not confirmed subscription or collection. This status applies to GDSN recipients only.
• Error: An issue occurred during publishing (validation, system, or recipient-side error); user action is required to resolve and retry.
• Pending Delivery: The product is published, but the recipient has not yet pulled or processed the data.
• Pending Recipient Action: Product is under recipient review or awaiting further action by the recipient.
• Pending Supplier Action: The recipient has provided feedback or raised issues requiring user action and republishing.
• Synchronized: Product data is fully aligned and in sync with the recipient; no further action is needed.

Readiness score for each recipient

The readiness score indicates whether the current draft of the product data meets all the requirements and is ready for syndication. This is displayed as Draft Readiness in the Syndication panel.

Number of synchronized recipients

Shows the total count of recipients, synchronized with the product under the Synchronized in Syndication panel.

Average readiness score

Displays the average readiness score of all linked recipients combined under Average Readiness in the Syndication panel.

Displays the combined readiness score of all linked recipients, calculated as:

Average Readiness Score = Sum of all readiness scores / Number of recipients

This value appears under Average Readiness in the Syndication panel.

Viewing the Syndication panel in PDP

To view the Syndication panel in PDP:

1. In PDP, click on the control to display the right panel.

   

2. Click the Syndication tab to display the Syndication panel.

   

The readiness score changes when product data is updated in the following ways:

• Changing data manually
• Discarding changes in recipient data
• Updating attributes using AI features

Changing data manually

Any modification to product data within a context will update:

• Readiness Score in the publication checklist in real time.

• Readiness score in Syndication panel.

Discarding changes in recipient data

When changes (all or some) are discarded or not saved:

• The score in the publication checklist is recalculated in real time.
• The recipient’s score in the Syndication panel is updated accordingly.
  

Updating attributes using AI features

Update the readiness score using AI-generated attribute values for a product as follows:

• Generate attribute values in global context
• Generate attribute values in recipient context

Generate attribute value(s) in global context

Attributes filled using Generate Content (AI feature) or Content Generation (AI feature) will update the score in the readiness tracker (based on AVMT settings) for all linked recipients in the global context.

Generate attribute value(s) in recipient context

Attributes filled using Content Generation (AI feature) update the score in the readiness tracker (based on AVMT settings) for a product in the recipient context.
